Loneliness

The smell of her perfume

permeates through the air

I close my eyes

take a

My memory envelops me in

my mother’s cocoon

Till a hair falls on the ground

  with a

         B                M

               O   O

and the reality of my

loneliness

digs me out

and

hollows out my bones

I sink

I                  through the bed

sink

through the floor

I am too heavy for water
